The Cherokee County Department of Building and Fire
Safety serves
with the intent of enhancing Cherokee County's quality of life, environment, and growth by providing the citizens of Cherokee
County with comprehensive planning, efficient code enforcement, courteous technical assistance and public forums.
The
Department of Building Safety will work to ensure sound construction of new buildings, promote steady maintenance of existing
buildings and enforce regulations and development practices in accordance with the National and International Building Codes
and Local Land Development Regulations.
